What Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Intensive Includes?
If you have been
practicing yoga for a significant period, you probably know by now how great it
can be in improving your physical and mental wellness. How about taking this to
the next level by going into a vinyasa yoga teacher training intensive course?
Spread the love for yoga by helping other students with their journey to
improved flexibility, increased mental awareness, and a stress-free lifestyle.
Improve
your sequencing skills
One of the things
they will teach you in a vinyasa yoga teacher
training intensive course is proper sequencing – or planning a series of yoga
poses to target a particular intent. You don’t do vinyasa yoga in a haphazard
way. You need to learn what the poses are for in order to get the most out of
every session. Your students will come in for yoga classes for different
reasons and your session will need to cover a particular intent for that day.
How
much time do you need?
Most intensive yoga
teacher training programmes include 200 hours of training course. The course
will cover sequencing skills, how to create creative routines for different
students, helping students with their breathing and focus and how to mentor
beginners on their yoga journey.
200 hours is a lot of
time but the one thing you must remember is that a course cannot cover everything
in this amount of time. You will need to specialize in a specific type of yoga
and spend the 200 hours on it to be a certified yoga teacher. Any course that
tells you it covers everything about yoga in this amount of time is lying.
